The Government of Pakistan has announced around 600 job vacancies under the Ministry of Defence, offering employment opportunities in technical, administrative, information technology, engineering, operational, and support categories.
According to the recruitment advertisement, the available positions range from BS-01 to BS-16 and will be filled under federal and provincial quotas. Successful candidates will be appointed on a contract basis.
The vacancies include positions such as Architect, Software Developer, IT Support Engineer, Manager Administration and Finance, Open Source Investigator, Site Engineer, Research Assistant, Quantity Surveyor, and Traffic Analyst.
A number of other posts are also available, including Upper Division Clerk (UDC), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Field Operator, Special Operator, technicians, supervisors, drivers, security staff, electricians, firefighters, cooks, mess waiters, Naib Qasid, Mali, and sanitary workers.
Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications vary according to the nature of each position. Candidates applying for senior and technical roles must possess relevant degrees, professional qualifications, and required experience.
For support positions, applicants with matriculation, primary education, or relevant technical skills and trade experience may also be eligible.
The general age limit for applicants is between 18 and 30 years, while certain positions may have different age requirements. Age relaxation will be provided according to government rules.
