The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs4.33 per kilogram for September 2026.
According to a notification issued by OGRA on Monday, the new LPG price has been fixed at Rs258.65 per kg, making LPG more expensive for consumers across the country.
The latest increase will also affect household LPG cylinders.
The price of an 11.8kg domestic LPG cylinder has increased by Rs51.17, taking its revised price to Rs3,052.
The new prices will remain applicable throughout September 2026.
The increase is expected to add to household energy costs, particularly for consumers who rely on LPG for cooking and other domestic needs.
