Oppo has confirmed that the standard A7 Pro will launch in China next week. The announcement comes shortly after the company introduced the Oppo A7 Pro Max last month. Although Oppo has not shared the complete specifications yet, it has confirmed one major feature: an 8,000mAh battery.
The Oppo A7 Pro will officially debut in China on September 11, according to a post shared on Weibo. The smartphone will also go on sale on the same day. Oppo is expected to reveal additional details before the launch event.
Besides its large battery, the Oppo A7 Pro will offer strong protection against dust and water. The company has confirmed an IP69K rating for the device. It will also feature an OLED display and run ColorOS 16 straight out of the box.
The launch poster also offers an early look at the smartphone’s design. The device appears to feature a single rear camera inside a horizontal, pill-shaped camera module. An LED flash is placed within the same module.
Meanwhile, the rear panel seems to feature a wave-like design. On the front, the Oppo A7 Pro includes a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. Oppo will likely share more specifications and features in the days leading up to September 11.
