Oppo has officially listed the upcoming K15 on its online store in China, revealing the phone’s design, hardware details, and color options ahead of its debut. The smartphone will launch in China on July 24 and will join the recently announced K15 Pro series.
One of the biggest highlights of the Oppo K15 is its built-in cooling fan. The feature was previously introduced on the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+, and Oppo is now bringing it to the standard model as well. The company has also equipped the device with a large 4,950mm² vapor chamber to improve heat management during gaming and demanding tasks.
The Oppo K15 runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 Super chipset. The phone also packs a massive 8,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries in its segment. In addition, it supports 80W wired fast charging for quicker top-ups.
On the front, the device features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. Oppo has not shared the display resolution or refresh rate yet, but the panel is expected to offer a premium viewing experience.
For photography, the Oppo K15 comes with a dual rear camera system. The setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The camera module also includes an RGB ring light, adding a unique design element to the phone.
Meanwhile, the front of the device houses a 50MP selfie camera for high-resolution photos and video calls. The company has also confirmed that the handset carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. This means the phone is designed to withstand harsh conditions better than many devices in its category.
The Oppo K15 is already available for pre-order through Oppo’s official online store in China. Buyers will be able to choose between Gale Gray and Rapid White color options. The smartphone will be sold in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. More details, including pricing and wider availability, are expected when Oppo officially unveils the K15 on July 24.
