Pakistan and Qatar have agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation in the fields of education and technical training, with a shared focus on empowering youth through modern skills development initiatives.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Minister of State Wajeeha Qamar and Qatari Ambassador Ali bin Mubarak Al Khater at the Qatari Embassy. Both sides discussed expanding collaboration in technical and vocational education aimed at aligning youth skills with evolving global job market requirements.
Officials emphasized the need to strengthen institutional linkages between educational and training organizations in both countries to improve skill development standards and capacity building.
The two sides also agreed in principle to enhance student and teacher exchange programs and explore new scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students, particularly in technical and professional education fields.
The initiative is expected to create new pathways for employment and international exposure, helping Pakistani youth gain competitive skills for global opportunities.
