Zameen.com has crossed the 3 million monthly visits mark, reiterating its position as the clear market leader in Pakistan with no competitor of comparable scale.
Founded in 2006 by the Ali Khan brothers, the portal has exhibited remarkable progress in a short span of time. Today, it has a team of close to 500 people, offices in 9 and presence in 30 major cities, and over 8,000 estate agencies on board. These major achievements, coupled with the portal’s high focus on performance advertising and its extensive reach across the nation, have led Google to conduct its first-ever marketing case study in Pakistan, which is based on Zameen.com’s digital marketing initiatives.
Zameen has also recently raised $9 million from three renowned international funds in its latest venture round, and was named one of the top eight global portals “to watch and learn from” at the Property Portal Watch Conference in Amsterdam.
The sharp growth in monthly visits as well as other key metrics is unique to Zameen.com in the Pakistani market, and the home-grown brand is at least 8 times larger than its closest competitor in all respects.
