The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has withheld payments for thousands of students enrolled in its partner schools after their B-Forms could not be verified through the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
According to PEF officials, enrollments of students whose B-Forms could not be successfully verified have not been approved and have been classified as fake enrollments.
The foundation has directed its licensed partner schools to ensure that the affected students complete the NADRA verification process again so their enrollments can be validated.
PEF has given all licensed schools until August 20, 2026, to complete the verification process for students whose records remain unverified.
Officials said the withheld payments will only be released after the students are successfully verified through NADRA.
The verification requirement is part of PEF’s efforts to ensure that enrollment records submitted by partner schools correspond to genuine students and that education-related funds are not released against unverifiable enrollments.
