The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) has announced new examination requirements for MDCAT 2026, making biometric verification mandatory for all candidates.
According to an official public notice, students appearing in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will now be required to undergo biometric verification as part of the exam process to ensure proper identification and prevent impersonation.
The council further stated that candidates under the age of 18 must present a valid Juvenile Registration Card issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (National Database and Registration Authority) before being allowed to sit for the test.
Authorities have advised all applicants to ensure their documents are complete and up to date ahead of the examination to avoid any issues during verification on exam day.
Officials said the new measures aim to streamline the admission testing process and strengthen transparency and fairness in medical entry examinations across the country.
