The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) received 4,901 consumer complaints against telecom operators in June 2026. Fortunately, the authority redressed 4,611 of these cases by the end of the month. Consequently, PTA achieved an impressive overall redressal rate of 94.08%.

Cellular Mobile Telephony generated the most frustration among consumers. Specifically, PTA received 4,188 complaints in this category alone. This accounts for more than four-fifths of the total complaint volume for the month.
However, the regulatory body resolved 3,984 of these issues quickly. As a result, the cellular sector recorded a 95.13% redressal rate. This currently stands as the highest resolution rate among all major telecom categories.
Meanwhile, Internet Services ranked second in total volume. Consumers reported 581 cases across the country in June. The PTA successfully redressed 513 of them, yielding an 88.3% resolution rate.
On the other hand, Basic Telephony (Fixed Line) saw 109 consumer complaints. The authority managed to resolve 93 of these issues. Therefore, Fixed Line services registered an 85.32% redressal rate. This marks the lowest redressal rate among the four telecom service categories.
Finally, Wireless Telephony (WLL) recorded the lowest complaint volume overall. Users filed only 23 complaints regarding these specific services. The PTA effectively addressed 21 of these cases. Ultimately, this resulted in a solid redressal rate of 91.3% for the category.
