The Rs. 40,000 Premium Prize Bond is a registered instrument. This means it provides biannual profit payments alongside the quarterly draw entries.
If you won a prize today, the State Bank of Pakistan will automatically transfer the funds to your registered bank account. You do not need to visit an office or fill out claim forms. However, the prize money is subject to withholding tax. The government deducts 15% for tax filers and 30% for non-filers before crediting the final amount.
