Samsung Pakistan has introduced the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 as its newest mid-range smartphones, priced between Rs 149,999 and Rs 184,099 for local buyers.
The Galaxy A37 starts at Rs 149,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, making it the more affordable option between the two newly launched devices.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy A57 at Rs 166,999, while its 12GB RAM variants with 256GB or 512GB storage are available at Rs 184,099 across authorised retail outlets.
Display and design
Both smartphones feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming performance.
The Galaxy A57 comes with a 6.9mm slim metal frame and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, offering greater durability than the standard A37 model.
Battery and charging
Both devices are fitted with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing the phone to reach 60 percent charge in approximately 30 minutes.
Camera specifications
Both phones carry a 50-megapixel main camera with improved night photography capabilities and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Galaxy A57 includes a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, while the A37 uses an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens; both models also include a 5-megapixel macro camera.
Performance and software
The Galaxy A57 runs on an Exynos 1680 processor built on 4nm technology, while the Galaxy A37 uses the Exynos 1480 chipset for its day-to-day processing tasks.
Both phones ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, and Samsung has committed to providing six years of software and security updates for both devices.
The Galaxy A57 also includes AI-powered features such as Best Face, Auto Trim, Object Eraser, and Voice Transcription, which are absent from the base A37 model.
