Samsung appears to be moving closer to the launch of the Galaxy M47. Back in March, the smartphone appeared in the GSM Association’s IMEI database, confirming that the device was under development.
Now, a prototype of the Galaxy M47 has surfaced on Geekbench. The listing reveals that the phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. The tested unit also carried 8GB of RAM, although Samsung could introduce more memory options at launch.
The benchmark listing further confirms that the Galaxy M47 runs Android 16. Samsung’s One UI 8 custom skin will sit on top of the latest Android version.
For now, these are the only details available about the upcoming smartphone. However, more leaks and reports about the Galaxy M47 are expected to appear in the coming weeks.
