Samsung’s Galaxy S27 lineup is already taking shape through a series of leaked renders. After the Galaxy S27 and S27 Ultra, new CAD-based renders now show the Galaxy S27 Pro. The Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to become a new model in Samsung’s flagship lineup. It appears to target buyers who want an Ultra-style phone in a smaller body. Unlike the Ultra, however, the Pro is expected to drop the built-in S Pen.
Galaxy S27 Pro gets a smaller Ultra-style design
The leaked renders show the Galaxy S27 Pro using the same camera island design as the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The layout appears similar to Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. The camera plateau stretches across much of the phone’s upper rear panel. However, Samsung appears to place all of the camera lenses toward the left side of the island.
According to the source behind the renders, the Galaxy S27 Pro measures 154.06 x 73.77 x 7.95 mm. The phone should feature a display measuring around 6.6 inches diagonally. That would make the Pro around 9mm shorter and 5mm narrower than the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The smaller size could make it more comfortable for users who find Ultra models too large.
The Galaxy S27 Pro could use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC. However, Samsung may still use its Exynos 2700 chip in some markets. The phone is expected to start with 12GB of RAM. Samsung could also offer a 16GB version, although that configuration may remain limited to the highest storage option.
Galaxy S27 Pro camera and battery details
The Galaxy S27 Pro could share much of its camera hardware with the Ultra. The leaked specifications point to a 200MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The biggest camera difference should come from the telephoto lens. Instead of the Ultra’s setup, the Pro may use a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The phone is also rumored to pack a 5,200 mAh battery. That would give the smaller Pro model a sizeable power cell despite its more compact dimensions. Samsung has yet to confirm the Galaxy S27 Pro or any of these specifications. Still, the latest renders suggest the company could expand its flagship lineup with a new Ultra-inspired option.
