Samsung has started rolling out One UI 9 to the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The Galaxy S26 FE already ships with One UI 9 out of the box. However, Samsung’s global announcement did not provide much detail about older Galaxy devices. It only listed some models that will receive the new Privacy Alerts feature.
Samsung Thailand has now shared more information about the One UI 9 rollout. According to the regional announcement, the Galaxy S25 series will receive the update on September 28. The Galaxy Z7 foldables are also scheduled to get One UI 9 on September 28. This gives owners of Samsung’s 2025 flagship devices a clearer update timeline.
Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy S23 FE will receive One UI 9 by October this year. The company did not provide a specific release date for the device. The Galaxy S23 FE launched with Android 13 and was promised four major Android OS updates. As a result, One UI 9 should be its final major software update.
The same update policy applies to the other Galaxy S23 models. However, Samsung did not specifically name those phones in the latest press release. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 series has already received its final major software update. The lineup moved to Android 16 with the One UI 8 update.
Samsung has not completely ended software support for the Galaxy S22 series. The phones will continue receiving quarterly security updates. Overall, Samsung’s latest details provide a clearer picture of the One UI 9 rollout. The Galaxy S25 series and Z7 foldables are next, followed by the Galaxy S23 FE in October.
