Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update in the United States. The update is reaching the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6 users. These devices had already received the update globally earlier this week.
Now, the rollout has officially expanded to US users. However, it is currently limited to carrier-locked US CSC devices. Wider availability is expected in the coming days for other variants.
Different firmware versions are being used for each device. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is getting build S928USQU5DZDR. The Galaxy S24 FE carries S721USQUBDZDP. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold6 is receiving F956USQU3DZDQ. The Galaxy Z Flip6 update comes with F741USQU3DZDP.
Reports also suggest that the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ are receiving One UI 8.5 in the US. However, their exact firmware numbers have not been confirmed yet. At this stage, the rollout is gradual. Only selected carrier-locked units are being updated first. Samsung is expected to expand the release to more devices soon.
If users in the US have not received the update yet, they can check manually. They need to open Settings and go to the Software update section. From there, they can tap Download and install.
The One UI 8.5 update brings the latest improvements from Samsung’s software experience. As the rollout continues, more users will gain access in the coming days.
