The Sindh Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched Roshan Sindh Pakistan, the province’s first centralized portal for managing student records from public and private universities.
Under the new system, each university will receive a dedicated account to upload student information. Institutions can submit up to 60,000 records in a single upload using an Excel template. The portal will automatically validate data, prevent duplicate entries and generate detailed reports.
The platform also includes secure access and a complete audit trail of uploads to improve transparency and accountability. According to officials, the system will help Sindh HEC monitor enrollment trends, improve education planning and strengthen quality assurance across universities.
The portal is also expected to reduce administrative work for universities by eliminating the need to submit student information in different formats. Automated checks will minimize errors and duplicate entries, making student data management faster and more efficient.
