An idea can change lives, attitudes and ultimately the world. Everthing kicks off from a small idea and then those who are ready to pay the price to make these ideas and dreams come true stay successful in their lives.
Our application suggestion for today is an inspiring android app that will keep you motivated and you will understand how powerful ideas can be.
TED (Technology, Education, Design) is non profit organization that owns global conferences under the punch line ‘ideas worth spreading’. Every year TED and TEDx (independtly curated) events are organzined where inspiring speakers irrespective of cast, creed and religion present their ideas to audience. These TED talks also also available on ted website and Android Application where we can get to see, hear and download these talks sitting at our home via our smartphone.
On the TED app you can exquisitely find new information about your favorite topics. We don’t have shortage of brilliant minds in the World. The TED app allows you to watch TED videos and share them on your social networks. They have currently launched over 1000 videos and they add new ones each week. If you have Internet problems you can download the video and watch it later. The app also allows only streaming audio for slow Internet or GPRS users. Main three sections of the app are:
Featured:
This category shows what’s under the spotlight. It shows a list of trending TED talks.
All Talks:
This is the best feature of the TED app it shows a list of topics. So if you desire to know about a specific topic you can easily find it in the ‘All Talks’ section.
My Talks:
You can watch your entire downloaded TED content here. If you are watching a TED video and want to continue it later you can bookmark it. All of the bookmarks are stored in My Talks section.

Another great feature of the app:

If you have problems in understanding the language, The TED Open Translation Project provides subtitles in almost every language.
However if you are not comfortable with that you can also find TED talks in different languages. This option is available in All Talks section.
