iQOO has launched the Neo12 in China, adding a built-in cooling fan and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to its latest smartphone. The device also features a 185Hz AMOLED display, a 9,000mAh battery, and 100W wired charging.
The iQOO Neo12 uses a custom 59-blade cooling fan that reportedly increases airflow by around 10%. It also features a large 3D Ice Dome vapor chamber to improve heat management during demanding tasks and gaming sessions.
The phone sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display developed by Visionox. The panel uses p-TSF technology and offers a 2K resolution, a 185Hz refresh rate, and up to 2,200 nits of peak brightness. A dedicated display chip handles display-related operations.

For gaming, iQOO has included its in-house Q3 chipset. It supports ray tracing in select games, 2K resolution upscaling, and frame-rate interpolation. These features are designed to improve graphics and deliver smoother gameplay.
The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Meanwhile, a 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The Neo12 packs a 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. Other features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, an infrared sensor, stereo speakers, and an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water.
