Vivo announces S1 Pro with 32MP pop-up selfie camera

Vivo has announced the Pro variant of the Vivo S1 with 32 MP selfie camera and a Snapdragon 675 SoC processor. The shape of the Vivo S1 Pro is the same as that of the simple Vivo S1 which was launched earlier in March, but the Pro version packs various latest features in it.

The S1 Pro comes with a notchless 6.39-inch Super AMOLED huge display, with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display of this phone has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The phone further features a Snapdragon 675 SoC processor, and a 6GB and 8GM RAM variants. The 6GB variant has a 256GB of storage space and the 8GB version has 128GB storage space.

The rear side of the device features three camera sensors including a 48MP Quad-Bayer, 8MP wide-angle, and 5MP depth-sensing camera sensor for excellent quality pictures. Vivo has upgraded the front camera of the S1 Pro, which is a 32MP camera that pops up from the top of the handset.

Moreover, the device has an in-display fingerprint sensor, and it runs on Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 software. The handset has a dedicated button on the left of the screen which allows the user to launch AI-based voice assistant Jovi. The S1 Pro has a 3,700 mAh battery with a micro USB charging port.

The device comes in Red and Blue colors and will be available for sale in China from May 9. The estimated price of the Vivo S1 Pro is around 55,000 rupees, but we will have clear detail about the price once the device is available for purchase.
