Vivo has quietly expanded its Y600 lineup in China with a new Y600i model. The phone stands out with an 8,000mAh battery and a 6.87-inch display. The Y600i joins the recently announced Vivo Y600 Turbo and Y600 Pro. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
Storage reaches 256GB through UFS 2.2, while a microSD card slot provides another expansion option. The phone also supports 5G connectivity through its dual-SIM setup.
The large 8,000mAh battery supports 44W wired fast charging. On the front, the phone uses a 6.87-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The software is based on Android 16, with vivo’s OriginOS 6 running on top. Several AI features are also included as part of the software package.
For photography, the Y600i has a 50MP rear camera with autofocus. An 8MP camera is placed on the front for selfies and video calls. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IP69 rating. The phone also supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity.
The vivo Y600i is now available in China in Midnight Black, Sky Blue, and Stardust colors. The 6GB/128GB model costs CNY 1,699 ($255). Meanwhile, the 6GB/256GB version is priced at CNY 1,999 ($300). Vivo has not announced details about availability in other markets yet.
