WorldCall Telecom Limited (WTL) has declared that it will collaborate with Tufa Telecommunications to upgrade its telecommunication infrastructure in 20 significant urban areas by deploying Fibre to the Home (FTTH) platform and blockchain innovation. The move will lead to boost internet speeds and improve client experiences.
FTTH is a fast and dependable organization being utilized by millions around the world.
“This (FTTH) provides dedicated internet connections to each and every (household and business) customer. It is used to boost internet speed for consumers,” IT expert Noman Said told The Express Tribune.
Old cable lacks fiber which is the key to high-speed internet. Four to five ISPs, out of eight, are now utilizing FTTH innovation in Pakistan, he said.
The collaboration will lead to consistent broadband access via the optimum utilization of the current fiber-optic network.
Earlier, the IT Ministry had approved 7 Internet infrastructure projects of Rs. 4.8 billion in line with the Digital Pakistan vision along with 9 Fiber Optic projects.
