Xiaomi has started teasing its upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series, with the new phones expected to launch later this month. The company has confirmed the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max are on the way. However, Xiaomi has not shared an exact launch date yet.
Meanwhile, a Xiaomi device powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro has appeared on Geekbench. The device carries the model number M154FF, which is unusual for Xiaomi. The company has previously used model numbers based on the year and month.
The Geekbench listing does not confirm the device’s final commercial name. However, the hardware details suggest it could belong to the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series. The listing also provides an early look at the phone’s performance.
The prototype scored 2,871 points in the single-core test. It also recorded 8,836 points in the multi-core test using Geekbench 7. These results should not be treated as final performance figures.
Prototype devices often run unfinished software and hardware. As a result, retail versions can deliver different benchmark results. Xiaomi may also make further changes before the phone reaches consumers.
The listing shows that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro CPU can reach speeds of up to 5.01GHz. The tested device had 16GB of RAM. Xiaomi could still offer additional memory configurations when the phones launch.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro series is also expected to run HyperOS 4 out of the box. The software is based on Android 17. Previous certifications have also revealed support for 100W wired charging on both models.
With the launch expected later this month, more details about the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max should emerge soon. For now, the Geekbench listing offers an early look at the hardware powering Xiaomi’s next flagship series.
