The PUBG Mobile World Cup is set to ignite the esports scene as it kicks off in Riyadh from July 25 to August 3, 2025, as part of the global Esports World Cup. Hosted at the futuristic Qiddiya Esports Arena, the tournament will feature 24 of the best teams from around the world battling it out for a staggering $3,050,000 prize pool.
This tournament marks one of the biggest highlights of the multi-title Esports World Cup, which boasts a total prize pool exceeding $70 million.
PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 Whole Event & Team Lineups
The competition is divided into three thrilling stages:

Group Stage (July 25–27): 24 teams split into three groups of eight will compete in 18 matches.

Survival Stage (July 29–30): 16 remaining teams will play 12 matches, with the top eight advancing.

Grand Finals (August 1–3): The top 16 teams will fight across 18 matches with a unique “SMASH” rule, i.e., if any team leads by 10+ points after Day 2, they can instantly clinch the title with a final win.
Pakistan in the Spotlight
Pakistani powerhouse 4Thrives Esports secured their coveted spot in the PUBG Mobile World Cup by finishing third in the PMSL Central & South Asia Spring 2025 tournament held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, a format that allotted three slots for South & Central Asia.

There is another significance of their appearance in Saudi Arabia. PUBG World Cup is expected to sizzle with the the world-famous Pakistan‑India clash. Moreover, it will be the first such encounter since 2020, with 4Thrives Esports representing Pakistan, and Team AxTMG representing India (as BGMI Pro Series champions).
