Punjab Government Declares 20 Day Winter Vacation For Schools

The summer holidays across Punjab have been extended, so all public and private schools will now reconvene on September 1.

Punjab’s Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, confirmed that schools will remain closed through August 31.

Earlier, The Punjab School Education Department debunked a fake notification circulating online, which falsely claimed that summer vacations had been extended until August 31, 2025. But Later today, Education minister announced the development on his twitter/X account.

The decision has been made considering extreme heatwave across Punjab.
