Overwatch 2 Revives One-Punch Man Collab with New Skins
Blizzard has revealed the return of the One-Punch Man x Overwatch 2 collaboration from October 16 to 29, 2025. This second run brings new skins, the original favorites, and challenge rewards to earn in game.
Fresh Faces: Wuyang as Garou, Ashe as Hellish Blizzard
The crown jewels of this event are two brand-new skins that merge Overwatch 2 flair with anime energy:
- Wuyang as Garou: Wuyang dons the mantle of Hero Hunter Garou, reflecting his rebellious streak. Garou’s spectral flair and chaotic flow infuse Wuyang’s agility with dangerous edge.
- Ashe as Hellish Blizzard: Ashe transforms into the psychic heroine Hellish Blizzard; her aura of confidence and authority shines through. Even her companion B.O.B. receives a synchronized redesign.
Blizzard states that:
“Each skin is crafted with care to carry personality and unique details of the iconic inspirations while preserving Overwatch’s stylized aesthetic.”
Original Collab Icons Return
Alongside the newcomers, Blizzard is bringing back all the skins from the first collaboration. Players can again obtain:
- Doomfist as Saitama
- Genji as Genos
- Kiriko as Terrible Tornado
- Soldier: 76 as Mumen Rider
These skins carry over the balance between humor, design, and homage to the source anime. The return ensures players who missed out last time can now complete their collection.
Challenges & Time-Limited Rewards
To unlock content, players must complete event challenges during the period. Rewards include:
- Soldier: 76 Mumen Rider skin (if not already owned)
- 15,000 Battle Pass XP
- A “heroic lineup of crossover cosmetics”
However, these rewards vanish after the event ends. Blizzard has notified players to act fast before October 29. This adds to the excitement of the event and also the competitive spirit among all players to get the rewards unlocked before the set deadline.
Why This Crossover Returns Now
Blizzard ties the timing to the anticipation around “One-Punch Man Season 3”. They note that Overwatch and One-Punch Man both thrive in worlds of heroism, absurdity, and bold visuals, making this crossover a natural fit.
As Blizzard puts it:
“Where rocket-hammer-wielding crusaders and time-jumping pilots team up… this is a playful collision where courage, absurdity, heroism, and even villainy all have a place.”
Players eager to collect these skins and reap rewards should jump in before the clock runs out. Don’t forget to check the official Blizzard announcement for images, full details, and updates.
