Arms License Renewal Now Possible Through NADRA Mobile App
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made arms license renewal easier than ever. Citizens can now renew licenses issued by the federal or Punjab governments without visiting government offices.
Using NADRA’s Pak-ID smartphone application, individuals can complete the arms license renewal process quickly by submitting applications directly from their mobile devices. This digital initiative saves time and ensures convenience for citizens across Pakistan.
In addition, NADRA recently announced plans to hire 200 Junior Executives (Data Entry Operators) in various districts of Karachi and interior Sindh to improve services and expand its workforce. Walk-in interviews will begin on November 3, 2025, covering five districts in Karachi and nine in interior Sindh.
To support the growing team, NADRA will purchase land in multiple districts to establish new regional offices. Districts identified for new offices include Mirpurkhas, Mirpur Sakro, Kotri, Matiari, Chachro, Jhuddo, Mirpur Tharro, Tando Allahyar, Jamshoro, Thatta, and Sujawal.
Candidates must have a minimum Intermediate qualification, with the upper age limit set at 25 years. NADRA authorities emphasized that these steps aim to enhance accessibility, provide faster arms license renewal services, and create employment opportunities for youth in semi-urban and rural regions.
