The PTCL Group achieved a 15% year-on-year revenue growth, reinforcing its position as Pakistan’s top integrated telecom services provider.
Financial Performance Overview
PTCL Group maintained steady growth across broadband, mobile, and enterprise segments during the period under review.
- Group revenue rose 15% year-on-year, driven by solid performance in fixed broadband, mobile data, enterprise, and wholesale services.
- PTCL’s revenue increased 13%, supported by 56% growth in Flash Fiber and 17% growth in Business Solutions compared to last year.
- The Carrier and Wholesale segment grew 24%, while international operations posted a 6% year-on-year revenue rise.
- Operating profit reached Rs. 12.9 billion, marking a 57% increase from YTD 2024.
- However, PTCL posted a net loss of Rs. 1.2 billion due to a one-time pension liability of Rs. 5.9 billion as per the Supreme Court’s decision.

PTCL Group Strengthens Industry Position with Telenor Pakistan Acquisition
In a major development, the Competition Commission of Pakistan granted Phase II approval for PTCL’s proposed acquisition of Telenor Pakistan. This marks a key milestone in the telecom sector’s consolidation and strengthens PTCL’s footprint in digital connectivity and infrastructure. The acquisition aligns with the government’s vision for a digitally empowered Pakistan.
Broadband and Enterprise Leadership
PTCL’s Flash Fiber remained the fastest-growing fiber broadband service in the country, reporting 30% annual growth and securing a 35% market share. The company also launched the Tez Raftaar offer, making high-speed internet more affordable for homes and businesses.
PTCL’s business services segment retained leadership across IP bandwidth, cloud, data center, and ICT solutions, reinforcing Pakistan’s position as a regional connectivity hub.
During Q3 2025, PTCL signed a Trans-Pakistan connectivity deal with major Chinese operators, enhancing east-west digital trade routes. It also executed submarine cable capacity sales from Singapore to Marseille, highlighting Pakistan’s growing importance in global digital infrastructure.
The Enterprise division expanded into FinTech and IoT, closing key government and corporate M2M deals. PTCL also grew its Wholesale IP bandwidth business, forming strategic partnerships with major CMOs and a leading satellite provider to extend broadband access across AJK and GB.
Technology, Partnerships, and Innovation
PTCL delivered Pakistan’s first 5G-ready smart residential community, blending modern living with next-generation connectivity. This project underscores PTCL’s ability to bring global innovations to local markets.
The company also introduced automated bill delivery via WhatsApp, enabling customers to receive bills conveniently.
In partnership with Mercantile, Apple’s authorized distributor in Pakistan, PTCL launched the iPhone 17 series with exclusive offers on Ufone and Flash Fiber in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. The deal offers warranty-backed devices, instant insurance, and bundled telecom benefits, enhancing customer experience.
Ufone’s Network and Digital Growth
Ufone continued its network modernization, increasing 4G penetration by 5.9 percentage points to 69.2% in September 2025. The company decommissioned 44% of its 3G network, reallocating spectrum to improve 4G and VoLTE services.
Digital platforms also showed strong momentum. UPaisa reached 1.2 million monthly active users, growing 153% year-on-year, while the My Ufone app hit 5.4 million monthly active users, a 65% increase. Ufone remained a leader in digital recharge penetration.

Following the success of the first ‘Ba-Ikhtiar’ program, PTCL renewed its partnership with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) for a second phase aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs. The rollout will begin in Rawalpindi and Chitral (KP), expanding to 23 cities nationwide.
The Group also signed another MoU with PPAF to provide clean drinking water in Thar and South Punjab, benefiting over 200,000 people through reverse osmosis systems, rainwater harvesting, and hand pumps.
During recent floods, PTCL demonstrated operational resilience. Ufone 4G offered free call minutes in disaster-hit areas, while PTCL provided bill discounts on fixed broadband services, reaffirming its commitment to community welfare.
In another first, PTCL Group introduced SUNO, an AI-powered early warning system developed with ConnectHear for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The system sends sign language video alerts via WhatsApp during emergencies, ensuring accessible communication across Pakistan.
