Punjab Revises Textbooks for Middle and High School Students
Punjab’s education authorities are set to replace 29 textbooks for middle and high school students in the upcoming academic year. The move aims to update learning material and improve curriculum standards across the province.
The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has started preparing the new books, focusing on classes 6 to 9, with class 9 seeing the largest revision of 18 books. Schools have been officially informed, and publishers are advised to complete printing to ensure the timely availability of revised textbooks.
Officials say this step will enhance education quality and provide students with up-to-date resources, reflecting modern teaching methods and content.
