In a major move to modernize education, the Punjab government has announced plans to implement digital examination reforms across all provincial education boards. The initiative aims to enhance transparency, accuracy, and public trust in the examination process.

The Punjab government is set to digitize examinations across all provincial education boards, starting with a briefing and training session at BISE Lahore on December 13, 2025. Representatives from all Punjab boards will attend the session, which will focus on equipping staff with skills for the new digital system.

Task Force Committee for Boards Chairman Muzammil Mahmood said the reforms are designed to improve transparency, accuracy, and trust in exam management. A BISE Lahore spokesperson confirmed that system analysts and computer programmers have been instructed to participate in the upcoming training to ensure smooth implementation.

These reforms mark a significant step in modernizing Punjab’s education system, reducing human error, and leveraging technology to enhance the efficiency and reliability of examinations.
