The Punjab School Education Department has unveiled a free Google certification program for 25,000 students and teachers from private schools, marking a significant step in enhancing digital readiness. The training will be conducted in private schools that already maintain advanced computer labs.

According to officials, the initiative will give participants access to international-level IT skills, improve digital literacy, and expand career opportunities both within Pakistan and abroad. They added that the program is designed to help students and educators meet the demands of a rapidly changing global job market.

The department emphasized that this effort reflects Punjab’s commitment to modern education and technological advancement, offering thousands of learners high-quality digital training at no cost.
