Red Dead Online Kicks Off 2026 With Bounty Hunter Bonuses & Weekly Rewards

Rockstar Games has officially launched the January 2026 update for Red Dead Online (RDO). While the studio prioritises the polish phase of Grand Theft Auto VI, they have not completely abandoned the frontier.

This month features a heavy focus on the “Bounty Hunter” role. Players can earn tripled payouts and claim exclusive gear through February 2.

Monthly Bonuses & Event Multipliers

Rockstar is incentivising combat and capture missions throughout January. All players can earn Triple RDO$, Role XP, and XP on regular bounties. Additionally, the “Manhunt” and “Day of Reckoning” events will also pay out triple rewards and award a special participation charm.

For those seeking higher stakes, Legendary and Infamous Bounties are currently offering Double RDO$, Gold, and XP.

Beyond currency, specific gameplay milestones unlock unique equipment:

• Harshaw Gauntlets: Awarded to anyone who turns in a Legendary Bounty.
• Clairborn Coat: Awarded to Rank 25+ Bounty Hunters who log in at any point this month.

Rockstar has broken the month into four distinct weeks. Players must log in and complete specific challenges to claim these limited-time items. Since today is January 9, the first week’s rewards are currently active.
