Hamza Majeed, chairman of OZ Group and owner of the Sialkot Stallionz, rejected a circulating video on social media, stating it has no connection to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise.
He described the allegations as false and baseless, clarifying that although discussions regarding ownership had taken place, no formal agreements were signed and no payments were made to the PCB or PSL.
Majeed reaffirmed that the franchise remains fully committed to its operations and upcoming PSL participation, dismissing claims of unauthorized share sales as entirely inaccurate and misleading.
To clarify for everyone: the circulating video involving the so-called Muhammad Shahid has no connection to Sialkot Stallionz.
While discussions were ongoing, no payments were made to PCB or PSL, and no agreement was ever signed.
These allegations are false.

Earlier, a man identified as Mohammad Shahid claimed he held a 76 percent majority stake, alleging that Hamza Majeed sold shares without his explicit consent or legal authorization.
The video sparked widespread social media speculation about the original acquisition of the franchise, including suggestions that OZ Developers purchased the team intending to later profit from foreign investor sales.
Majority owner M.Shahid (76%) warns against the unauthorized sale of shares by minority partner Hamza Majeed. Earlier this month, Australia-based Alpha Sports Group partnered with OZ Group, acquiring a 75 percent stake in the franchise following the Pakistan Super League team auction.
Alpha Sports Group, a leading distributor of sports medicine and rehabilitation products, will collaborate with OZ Group to strengthen team formation, performance standards, and overall franchise growth in PSL 11.
OZ Group, co-owned by Hamza Majeed and Kamil Khan, secured the franchise rights at the PSL 2026 auction at the Jinnah Convention Centre with a record bid of Rs 1.85 billion.
The acquisition marked the most expensive franchise purchase in PSL history, reflecting significant investor interest and highlighting the expanding commercial potential of Pakistan’s premier T20 competition.
Both Alpha Sports Group and OZ Group are Australia-based firms with established roles in sports management and investment, bringing financial capacity and operational expertise to the Sialkot Stallionz project.
