Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max could arrive sooner than expected. A new rumor suggests that both smartphones will become official on March 17. Recent leaks have already revealed several details about the upcoming devices.
Reports claim that the Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Max may launch as a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The overall design and hardware may stay similar. However, the battery capacity could differ between the Poco models and their Redmi counterparts.
Xiaomi has already confirmed the processors for both phones. The Poco X8 Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Max will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor.
Interestingly, these are the same chipsets used in the Redmi Turbo 5 series. This detail further supports the idea that the Poco devices are closely related to the Redmi models.
Leaks about both phones have increased in recent weeks. As a result, expectations around the launch continue to grow. More details about design, cameras, and battery sizes may surface soon.
