The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed its official refund policy for PSL 11 ticket holders, ensuring payments are returned automatically through the original method used for purchase.
All online tickets, including payments via debit cards, credit cards, JazzCash, and Easypaisa, will be refunded automatically, requiring no action from ticket holders to initiate the refund process.
The refund process is set to begin on 30th March 2026 and is expected to finish within 15 working days, depending on banks or payment service providers’ processing times.
Ticket holders experiencing delays beyond the stated timeframe are advised to contact their bank or payment platform directly for guidance in resolving any refund-related issues during processing.
The Pakistan Cricket Board and HBL PSL expressed appreciation for fans’ patience, promising a more thrilling and safe stadium experience once live cricket matches resume in the future.
For any ticket refund queries, customers can email Ticketing.psl@pcb.com.pk, ensuring direct communication with the official PCB ticketing team for prompt resolution and professional guidance regarding their payments.
Concerns had risen among PSL fans after promised ticket refunds failed to arrive within the previously announced timeframe, creating uncertainty and growing frustration among supporters nationwide.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi assured fans that payments for unused tickets would be returned within 72 hours after schedule disruptions forced cancellations or venue changes for matches.
Social media reports suggested that neither PCB nor its ticketing partner TCS provided public clarification addressing delays or outlining a revised timeline for ticket refund processing.
Fans continued seeking immediate updates from authorities to confirm when refunds will be processed, expressing growing concerns over accountability, financial safety, and transparency of the refund system.
Last week, the PCB announced a reduction of PSL venues from eight to two, citing government austerity measures and rising fuel costs affecting operations nationwide and overall logistics.
Matches originally scheduled across six cities, including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Peshawar, will now be held only in Lahore and Karachi to reduce travel and expenses.
Mohsin Naqvi confirmed matches will be played without spectators until regional conflict concerns subside, while the tournament will begin as scheduled on March 26, following strict operational adjustments.
He added that travel would be minimized by limiting matches to only two cities, and there will be no opening ceremony due to the government’s austerity measures and safety protocols.
Naqvi explained that these decisions were made after consultation with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and assured franchises would be compensated for losses caused by absence of gate revenue.
He reconfirmed that ticket holders would receive refunds within 72 hours, recalling similar no-crowd matches held safely during the 2020 and 2021 PSL seasons under comparable circumstances.
