Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Cricket Australia (CA) are engaged in scheduling talks for a three-match ODI series, expected to be staged in Pakistan between late May and early June.
As per to sources, the proposed itinerary places one match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and two fixtures at the Gaddafi Stadium, with tentative dates set from 31 May until 5 June.
Australia last toured Pakistan in January, for the the three-match T20I series, and are scheduled to travel to Bangladesh immediately after the forthcoming Pakistan assignment.
Bangladesh will host Australia for a white-ball series beginning 9 June, while the Green Shirts are provisionally scheduled to play two matches in Bangladesh between 8 and 20 May.
The Men in Green last red-ball series was against South Africa in October, ending 1–1, marking their most recent Test cricket appearance before the upcoming international assignments.
According to the ICC Future Tours Programme, Pakistan will tour the West Indies for two Tests in July and August, followed by England in August.
England will host Pakistan for three Tests between 19 August and 13 September, before Sri Lanka visit Pakistan in November for a two-match Test series.
Looking further ahead, New Zealand are scheduled to tour Pakistan in March 2027 for a two-Test series, continuing Pakistan’s commitments under the ICC Future Tours Programme.
