The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has officially announced 1,394 job vacancies. Candidates from across Pakistan can submit their applications. The National Police Foundation (NPF) is managing the recruitment process through its dedicated portal. With the deadline strictly set for May 4, 2026, interested applicants have limited time to apply for these FIA jobs.

Educational requirements vary significantly by position. They range from primary schooling to a Bachelor’s degree. For instance, LDC and UDC roles require matriculation and intermediate qualifications, respectively. Meanwhile, Assistant, Sub-Inspector, and ASI positions demand a Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university. Furthermore, specific roles strictly require typing speed, shorthand skills, or a valid driving license.
The government has distributed these vacancies under regional and provincial quotas. These allocations include specific seats for open merit, women, minorities, and persons with disabilities. Additionally, all candidates will receive a general age relaxation of 5 years.
Physical & Endurance Tests
Are you applying for a uniformed post? Applicants for Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Constable, and Constable Driver must pass physical and endurance tests. First, officials will record physical measurements. Men require a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches and a chest measurement of 33 x 34.5 inches. Women require a minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches.
Next, eligible candidates will undertake an endurance test. This involves a one-mile (1.6 km) run. Male candidates must finish the run within 7 minutes. Conversely, female candidates have a qualifying time of 10 minutes. Only the applicants who pass both the physical and endurance tests will advance to the Computer-Based Written Examination.
How to Apply Online for FIA Jobs
The FIA will only accept online applications. Therefore, you must not send any documents via courier or by hand. You must visit the official recruitment portal at www.npftas.pk to apply.
Each application carries a processing fee of Rs. 2,000. You must pay this non-refundable fee through the 1Link-1Bill service via any bank, ATM, or mobile wallet (EasyPaisa, JazzCash, UPaisa) using the 24-digit PSID generated by the portal. If you wish to apply for multiple posts, you must submit a separate application and fee for each role.
Shortlisted candidates will face written tests, skill tests, and interviews. Finally, an authorized Federal Government Civil Surgeon will conduct a comprehensive medical examination before final selection. Selected candidates for Assistant, UDC, and LDC roles must also qualify a mandatory NITB IT training course before completing their probation.
