Oppo is set to expand its flagship lineup this week with the global debut of the Find X9 series on April 21. The spotlight will be on the premium Find X9 Ultra, but the company is also preparing to introduce another model, the Find X9s, as part of the same launch event.
Recent leaks have already started shaping expectations. The Oppo Find X9s appeared on Geekbench 6, revealing key hardware details ahead of its official unveiling. The listing confirms that the device will run on the Dimensity 9500s chipset, which is a slightly toned-down version of the standard Dimensity 9500 SoC. Meanwhile, the higher-end Find X9s Pro is expected to use the full-powered chip.
This chipset is not entirely new to the market. The recently reviewed Poco X8 Pro Max also uses the same silicon, giving us a fair idea of the performance users can expect. As a result, the Find X9s should deliver solid speed and efficiency for everyday tasks and gaming.
Rumors also suggest a strong hardware package beyond the processor. The device is likely to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with slim bezels, offering a modern and immersive viewing experience. Battery life could be another highlight, as the phone is said to pack a large 7,025 mAh battery. In addition, it may support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which should help users power up quickly.
On the camera side, Oppo appears to focus on balanced performance. The rear setup is expected to include three 50MP sensors, while the front may house a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. These specifications indicate that the Find X9s will aim to deliver strong results across different shooting conditions.
More official details should arrive at the launch event. Until then, the early leaks provide a clear picture of what Oppo plans to bring to its global audience.
