LinkedIn added a new tool enabling advisors to book consulting sessions directly in the app with payment facilitation. The feature now available as part of LinkedIn Premium Business and advanced plans lets consultants generate direct leads. However, advisors and consultants can add a “Get advice from me” button to their LinkedIn profiles.
As explained by LinkedIn:
“This new feature lets you offer paid 1‑on-1 consultations directly from your LinkedIn profile. You can manage bookings, secure payments, and host video consultations all in one place. For consultants, coaches, and creators, it removes friction right where clients discover you and helps you get paid for what you already know.”
LinkedIn explained the new feature lets users offer paid one-on-one consultations directly from their profiles. Users can manage bookings, secure payments, and host video consultations all in one place according to the announcement. Furthermore, consultants, coaches, and creators can remove friction right where clients discover them and get paid for expertise.
The addition could be handy enabling consultants to drive more value directly from LinkedIn connections and networks. LinkedIn networks could become a more valuable driver of business opportunities for many users with this capability. Consequently, having a big LinkedIn network might finally translate into meaningful business value beyond connection counts.
A lot of LinkedIn users are trying to build their connection count to increase reach and visibility. Gathering a lot of LinkedIn connections is not overly difficult for most active users on the platform. Meanwhile, the capacity to gain clients directly from that network could up the value of links significantly.
LinkedIn stated the option will roll out to Premium Business subscribers in the United States this month. LinkedIn is also giving Premium All-in-One subscribers the capacity to boost posts from the mobile app. In addition, the platform is expanding Hiring Pro artificial intelligence applicant evaluation tools for enterprise customers.
