According to the official advertisement, candidates holding qualifications in Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, or Allied Health Sciences are eligible to apply. Applicants must possess a diploma or degree from a recognized board, council, or university and have secured at least a second division in their academic qualifications.
The internship program is open to candidates holding a Punjab domicile and aged between 18 and 30 years.
Officials said the initiative is designed to provide hands-on experience in emergency medical care, rescue operations, and disaster response services. Participants will have the opportunity to develop practical skills in a professional working environment while gaining exposure to real-world emergency situations.
The government believes the program will help strengthen the capacity of young healthcare professionals and improve their employment prospects. According to the advertisement, outstanding interns may also be considered for future opportunities within Rescue 1122.
