The Education Authority Lahore has intensified its campaign against unregistered private schools, announcing plans to seal 213 additional institutions that have failed to complete the mandatory registration process.
According to officials, a summary has been forwarded to the district administration requesting action against the identified schools. The latest move follows the sealing of 30 private schools earlier for violating registration requirements.
CEO Education Tariq Mahmood said that 744 private schools had already been issued a final warning to complete their registration. Authorities warned that educational institutions continuing to ignore official directives will also face legal action.
Among the schools identified for enforcement are Little Scholar School System, Peak School, New Horizon School, Wisdom Grammar School, City Grammar School, Mujahid Grammar School, Tariq Public School, Khawaja Saeed Model School, and The Smart School, along with several others.
The Education Authority reiterated that registration is mandatory for all private educational institutions and stated that the crackdown against non-compliant schools will continue without discrimination to ensure compliance with provincial education regulations.
