The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced an early passport renewal facility for intending Hajj 2027 pilgrims, following formal orders issued by the Passport Office at the request of the ministry.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Pakistani passports for Hajj 2027 must remain valid until November 16, 2027. Passport offices across the country have been directed to accept and prioritise early renewal applications from Hajj pilgrims to meet this requirement.
The spokesperson said intending pilgrims can apply for renewal ahead of the standard schedule under Passport Rules 3(c). Orders have also been issued to passport offices at Pakistani missions abroad, instructing them to process renewal applications without delay so that pilgrims face no difficulties.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised all intending Hajj pilgrims to ensure their Pakistani passports remain valid until November 16, 2027, ahead of the next stages of the process.
Officials clarified that no Hajj 2027 application will be accepted without a valid Pakistani passport.
