Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) has announced the waiver of the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) requirement for students applying to its BS programs during the current admission cycle.
In an official statement, the university said applicants can now apply for BS admissions without appearing in the HEC USAT. Students who have already taken the USAT, regardless of whether they passed the test, will also remain eligible to apply.
QAU clarified that the waiver is limited only to the USAT requirement for the ongoing admission cycle. All other admission conditions, eligibility requirements, and selection criteria will remain unchanged.
Applicants will still be required to fulfill the conditions mentioned in the Quaid-i-Azam University Admission Policy as well as the specific eligibility requirements of their selected academic programs.
The decision is expected to provide additional convenience for students who were unable to appear in the HEC USAT while maintaining the university’s existing academic standards and program-specific admission procedures.
