Samsung may soon expand its wireless earbuds lineup with a new model designed for fitness users. Fresh leaked illustrations have revealed another upcoming pair of earbuds, only a day after images of the rumored Galaxy Buds On surfaced online.
The latest leak shows earbuds with an ear hook design. According to the source, Samsung is developing them under the internal codename Buds Canal 5.
Unlike Samsung’s current earbuds, this model appears to focus on workouts and running. The ear hooks have a flat shape to provide a more secure fit during movement. Meanwhile, the earbuds feature ear tips that could use either an in-ear or semi-in-ear design.
The leaked illustrations do not show a charging case. However, Samsung will most likely include one with the final product, as it does with its other wireless earbuds. Samsung has not confirmed when these earbuds will launch. However, the report suggests they could arrive in early September. They may debut alongside the rumored Galaxy Buds On and the Galaxy S26 FE.
If the report is accurate, Samsung will enter two new earbud categories at the same time. So far, the company has only released traditional in-ear and semi-in-ear wireless earbuds. The addition of an ear hook model could help Samsung attract users who want better stability during exercise and outdoor activities.
The leaked images offer an early look at Samsung’s plans, but more details about the earbuds, including their features and specifications, are still expected before the official announcement.
