The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max could set a new record for smartphone cameras. Two well-known tipsters now claim it will feature three 200MP rear cameras. Tipster first shared the claim several months ago. Another source has now backed it, adding more weight to the reported camera setup.
The three cameras are expected to include the primary, ultrawide, and telephoto units. Each camera could use a 200MP sensor, making the setup unusual in the smartphone market. The primary camera is also expected to use Samsung’s ISOCELL HPC sensor with DeepPix technology. According to the source, the Find X10 Pro Max could be the first phone to use this sensor.
The phone could also become the first smartphone with a 200MP ultrawide camera. More importantly, it may be the first to offer three 200MP cameras on its rear. So far, smartphones have only reached two 200MP rear cameras. The Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra are among the phones using this approach.
The source previously reported that a 3MP multispectral sensor could join the triple-camera setup. Oppo was also said to be testing a 50MP ultrawide camera as another option. However, the company is reportedly moving forward with the 200MP ultrawide camera. If true, this would give the Find X10 Pro Max a major camera advantage.
The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is expected to launch in October. It is rumored to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 series 2nm chip. For the display, Oppo could choose between two LTPO panels. One option is a 6.78″ 1.5K display, while the other is a 6.89″ 2K panel.
If these reports are accurate, the Find X10 Pro Max could become one of Oppo’s most camera-focused phones. Its triple 200MP setup would also give it a notable edge over current rivals.
