Chery Master Pakistan has announced the launch date of its new all-electric vehicle, the Chery Q, in Pakistan. The electric car will officially debut at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026 on September 18.
The company will reveal the price and booking details of the Chery Q during the auto show. The vehicle is being positioned as an urban-focused electric car designed for everyday commuting and use as an additional household vehicle.
The Chery Q comes equipped with a 42.7 kWh battery and offers a claimed driving range of up to 400 kilometers under the NEDC cycle. Its stated efficiency is up to 9.4 kilometers per unit.
The vehicle measures 4,195 mm in length and has a 2,700 mm wheelbase, providing a compact footprint while maintaining relatively spacious interior dimensions.
The Chery Q will feature Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with 21 assistance functions. Other technology includes Automatic Parking Assist, a 15.6-inch 2.5K display, mobile connectivity, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
The company also plans to leverage Pakistan’s growing rooftop solar market by promoting electric vehicles as a way for households to use surplus solar electricity for transportation.
According to estimates shared by Chery Master Pakistan, a conventional petrol vehicle traveling around 20,000 kilometers annually could consume approximately Rs. 488,000 in fuel.
Under a real-world efficiency assumption of around 7.2 kilometers per unit, the annual energy cost of running the Chery Q could potentially fall to approximately Rs. 30,000 for households able to charge the vehicle using surplus solar power.
The potential savings could become increasingly relevant as rooftop solar adoption expands across Pakistan. The company noted that Pakistan imported around 17 GW of solar PV capacity in 2024, creating a growing base of households that can potentially use self-generated electricity for EV charging.

The launch will expand Chery Master Pakistan’s new-energy vehicle lineup and introduce another all-electric option to Pakistan’s growing EV market.
According to company figures, Pakistan’s new-energy vehicle segment grew by 392% during FY2025-26 and now accounts for around 15% of the country’s overall automobile market.
