Vivo launched the X Fold6 in China in June, but the foldable has yet to reach global markets. That could change soon, as a global version of the phone has now appeared on Geekbench. The device carries model number V2559 and was tested on Geekbench 7.0.0 for Android. It scored 1,710 points in single-core testing and 5,977 points in the multi-core test.
Since the device is still a prototype, these scores may not reflect its final performance. However, the listing confirms that the global X Fold6 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super SoC. The tested prototype came with 12GB of RAM. Vivo could still launch other memory options when the phone officially goes on sale. The global version will also run Android 17 with Vivo’s upcoming OriginOS 7.
Interestingly, the Chinese model launched with Android 16. This means the global version could offer newer software from day one. The Chinese X Fold6 features an 8.02-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display. It offers a 2312×2504 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The cover display measures 6.51 inches and also uses LTPO AMOLED technology. It has an 1120×2528 resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. For cameras, the phone has a 200MP main sensor with OIS. It also includes a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
The camera setup is completed by a 50MP ultrawide camera. The phone also has a 20MP selfie camera and a separate 20MP cover selfie camera. Storage options include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The X Fold6 is powered by a 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
Vivo has not confirmed a global launch date yet. However, the Geekbench appearance suggests the international release could be getting closer.
