The rollout begins with Pro and Max subscribers this week. Team and Free plans follow after the initial phase. Enterprise customers receive at least 30 days’ notice before changes. Existing Cowork data remains fully intact for current users. Access continues through a seamless transition for all. Users can continue existing work when the updated experience arrives.
Anthropic’s architectural shift removes the need to choose tools. Claude now decides what a task requires within conversations. Larger assignments continue running after users close their laptops.
