Apple has only just launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. However, a new leak has already surfaced about their successors. The upcoming models are reportedly being called the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max. Apple is expected to skip the iPhone 19 name next year.
The change could be linked to the original iPhone’s 20th anniversary. Apple may use the occasion for a major redesign across its Pro lineup. According to the source on Weibo, the iPhone 20 Pro could feature a 6.41-inch display. The panel is reportedly set to offer a 1236×2686 resolution.
The larger iPhone 20 Pro Max is said to use a 6.96-inch display. Its resolution could reach 1340×2912. Both models are also expected to feature very thin bezels on all four sides. A smaller punch-hole cutout could house the selfie camera.
For comparison, the iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch display with a 1206×2622 resolution. The iPhone 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch panel with a 1320×2868 resolution. This means both upcoming Pro models could get slightly larger displays. Their resolutions would also increase, but the changes appear relatively small.
The more notable change could be the move toward thinner bezels and a smaller camera cutout. However, these details remain unconfirmed for now. Apple has not announced any plans for the iPhone 20 Pro lineup. The reported specifications should therefore be treated as early leaks rather than confirmed features.
