Motorola has launched the Moto G47 Power in Europe, adding a larger battery to its existing G47 lineup. The new phone features a 7,000mAh battery, up from the 5,200mAh unit in the standard Moto G47, which arrived in April.
The battery upgrade matches an earlier EPREL listing and previously leaked renders. However, the larger battery also makes the new model thicker and heavier than its sibling.
The Moto G47 Power supports 30W charging, compared with 20W on the standard model. It also offers 6W wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge other devices. Motorola claims the phone can last up to 78 hours on a single charge.
The phone measures 166.23 x 76.5 x 8.89mm and weighs 215g. In comparison, the standard G47 measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 191g.
Most of the remaining specifications stay the same. The Moto G47 Power features a 6.67-inch LCD with a 720 x 1604 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display reaches 1,050 nits in high brightness mode and comes with Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Motorola has not announced other memory configurations, but users can expand storage through the microSD card slot.
For photography, the Moto G47 Power features a 108MP main camera and a 2MP macro sensor on the back. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The handset also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Other features include IP64 dust and splash resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
However, the software may disappoint some buyers. The Moto G47 Power ships with Android 16, despite Google releasing Android 17 months earlier.
Motorola offers the phone in Pantone Capri, Pantone Nautical Blue, and Pantone Impenetrable. The Capri option replaces the Fuchsia Red finish available on the standard Moto G47. The Moto G47 Power costs €339 in the European Union and £299 in the UK.
