Pakistan has expanded efforts to digitize its passport system as authorities move to modernize services, improve transparency, and streamline passport issuance for citizens.
According to the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, a high-level meeting reviewed ongoing reforms aimed at integrating advanced technology into passport operations.
Officials said the digitalization initiative is designed to reduce processing delays, improve workflow efficiency, and make the passport application process more transparent.
The department is also focusing on adopting modern digital solutions to enhance service delivery and facilitate citizens through faster and more efficient procedures.
